Hello! today i’m going to talk about whey protein shakes. Are they good for you? or bad for you?

Protein shakes are a easy way to increase your protein intake if you cant take it all in by whole foods. This is extremely important considering proteins are the main building blocks of the human body. Whey protein is one of two proteins found in milk and the other one is casein, it is the water based part of milk. Whey protein is also consisted of a huge range of amino acids which help muscle tone, strength, digestion, healing and more! There are two main types of whey protein, Concentrate and Isolate. Concentrate is about 80% protein, it contains some lactose and fat but it has the best flavor. Isolate is 90% protein, it contains less lactose and fat but has less beneficial nutrients. Whey protein is good for you it can help you loose weight and gain muscle, lower your appetite and boost your metabolism.
