Hello everyone!
Today I’m going to talk about staying on track during the holidays! We all know how hard it is to stay on track when all the delicious snacks and food come out!
First you are going to need to make a plan. You need to plan out days you will workout and stay active, while still spending time with your family. I recommend you get your workout in before
spending time with your family. Whether it’s lifting weights or just spending time on the treadmill, because that way you are finished with it and don’t have to worry about it. You will also need to make a plan with what food you are going to consume before you indulge on the food with your family. Just because it’s the holidays does not mean you can give up meal prepping. Stay on track with your regular diet through out the day, just eat less because you will make up for the calories later on in the day when it’s supper time. Another great tip to stay on track is, stop lounging around all day. Get moving more when you are with your family, play games that don’t always involve sitting down. If you decide to have a few drinks with your family, there are ways to make it more healthier. A few tips I have is stay away from the sugary drinks. Make vodka waters with Mio squirt, or buy vodka sodas that have zero calories. Just keep the drinks to a minimum just like the sugary treats.
Happy New Year!
