Today I’m going to give you a delicious meal prep idea that makes you look forward to what you are eating everyday!
First start off with 6 skinless boneless chicken breast, pound them flat in case they are to thick. Season the chicken breast on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Oregano. Then add a little bit of cooking oil of your choice (I use Kirkland’s canola oil cooking spray) to the pan and start pan frying the chicken breast until they are golden brown on each side. I personally like to do this first because it adds a little more flavour. Then mix a jar of marinara sauce and 4 tablespoons of parmesan in a bowl, place the chicken breasts in a oven safe baking dish then spread the marinara mix all over them. Bake at 375 for 30 mins, then add mozzarella cheese on top with a bit more Parmesan on each chicken breast and bake for a additional 5-10 mins or until cheese is melted. Then sprinkle some parsley flakes on top and it’s ready to serve! For a side dish I like to use the cheese filled tortellini egg pasta. Approximately 55 grams protein,35 grams carbs, 12 grams fat per meal.
