Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great summer so far. Summer is one of the toughest times to get into the gym as it’s so hot out already, and I don’t want to go into the hot gym to sweat some more, but I find ways to keep myself active outdoors. This past month Sage and I went out to Penticton, British Columbia. While we were there we did a few hikes to waterfalls, not only are these getting your body moving but they are a fun and easy way to burn some of those extra calories off that you may have consumed! The views were incredible, so it didn’t even seem like we were ‘working out’. Now just because you’re not in BC doesn’t mean you can’t go for a walk and explore wherever you are! For example, after BC we went to Calgary, Alberta for a few days and went to the zoo. We both put our trackers on our watches to track our walk. Altogether that walk through the zoo was over 5km and I burnt over 600 calories without knowing it! There is some example of easy ways to keep yourself active this summer, even without knowing it!
Xoxo,
Brooke Paul
